  5. Does a TED audience really need to be "tipped off" that magic isn't real? I dunno, given the normal high quality of TED lectures i just kinda assume the audience is highly rational. I explained in my first post more than he Keith Barry did in his 30 seconds: >Erickson hypnotic handshakes, cold reading, slight-of-hand, and cheap parlor tricks. ok, he DID mention slight-of-hand and misdirection to his audience, i'll give him that. But he left his audience more confused than when they entered.
