  1. Yeah, i don't know him personally, I fault him for his industry. TBH the problem of sensationalism is even becomming a standing problem in scientific research (ie: at universities). If your work isn't "wow!" - it can be difficult to court journals to get your work published, or attract funding. But that's not how science is supposed to work. More routine unexciting duplication of previous studies needs to be supported and expected. Don't let journalists tell you what problems "really matter".

  2. This talk is a bit rich, comming from a (mainstream I assume) JOURNALIST. Why does the future seem so scary & negative? Because negativity, sensationalism and FEAR sell newspapers the best. REDICULOUS MODERN JOURNALIST STANDARDS/POLICIES ARE A MAJOR PART OF THE VERY PROBLEMS HE TALKS ABOUT IN THIS VIDEO. Journalists r not to be trusted, their sensational BS, fuck the whole industry.
