  1. The components of sunscreen may be dangerous to Marine life, but the quantities used are so minuscule that it's irrelevant when compared to the effect of industrial pollutants such as farm fertilizers. You could need to dump truckloads of sunscreen onto a beach everyday to have an effect.

  2. Yeah but it's still nothing compared to industrial sources of pollutants. So much oil comes from just boats alone, during normal operation. How many boats do you see at the beach? Add to that everything comming outof the rivers and the shit washed off our roads from stormwater runoff. Sunscreen is nothing. It's like a single drop compared to the barrels a day comming from everything else.
