  1. We discussed coyotes last night at the dinner table. Even my children know what coyotes (pronounced Kee-o-tees) are, as many of their friends nannies came over via Coyote. And many come over, get settled and find work, and then send for their kids via coyote, and the kids travel alone. They did find a lot of the parents of the kids the media keeps speaking of, but the parents do not want them back in their home country--they want them in the US with family members so they have a chance at a better life. The media is over the top ridiculous, but after the debate, when people took to Twitter to make fun of Trump saying that wild animals were part of the problem--because they wouldn't even take a moment to google the expression because THEY could not have possibly misunderstood--just proves everything that the right has been saying about the left wing media! And they say that Trump is embarrassing us in front of the world! I wish I could play this for my kids, but the foul language is so disgusting, I can't. I have to shield them from YOU!

  2. Not just immigrants. Coyote is an expression we have used here in LA as part of regular conversation for years. Those I know who have come over via coyote (kee-o-tey) have told me horror stories. And a terrible thing to say, but unless it is an expensive coyote, then one's chances of making it over safely, or not getting robbed along the way--or worse, at the end, when they demand more money before they release the person--go waaaay down. It's very sad.
