So sad that no one listened to what Tucker said about starting the conversation about police brutality. If the country had started an informed debate, backed by research and facts, as to how to combat the problem back in 2018, we would have never had a Breanna Taylor or George Floyd tragedy, and the powdered that is our country should not have blown up the way we did. And the country would be in a much better place than it is now.

@antionejackson4848 While certain parts of the country were certainly built on the backs of slaves, there are many states where the historical statics are very different. So, the statement that "Black people built this country" casts aside all the other contributions made in all the other segments of a society that was built by other groups, races and religions, who contributed to our development and growth as a country over 3 centuries.

@antionejackson4848 100%. But again, it was not ALL of America. Just in certain areas and states. If you want people to acknowledge your statements and get on board with your message, the message needs to be truthful. Not vague and overreaching. People are finally paying attention--don't let them lose interest with false or misleading statements.

Do these guys watch any other news that themselves? Or any recent news atleast? This story is old news already, and Gavin apologized as soon as he was "exposed" by a fellow diner who should have been minding her business. Just as the waitstaff should not have given any private information to that diner. Although I am sure Gavin tipped well but is now sorry he did! Then Çenk first said that he went to a birthday dinner with good friends, then said they were lobbyists who Gavin barely knew (and heaven forbid a lobbyist celebrates a birthday!)... and then they went on about fracking for waaay longer than it was probably discussed at dinner. If it was even mentioned at all. Is that the most important story they have from last week? And maybe write some copy Ana can pronounce. It is not cute when she scolds people using words she can't pronounce, (just as she can't even pronounce Çenk's name properly), and likely doesn't understand for that matter.

And btw, there is no such thing as being "double vaccinated". The Covid vaccines we have so far consist of two shots which makes up ONE FULL dose of the vaccine.. and Israel has not done a better job bc they have socialized medicine.. my daughter got her first shot there and is waiting for her second shot. And she waited plenty of hours in line and waded through tons of bureaucracy (and paid $50), in order to get vaccinated. Socialized medicine is always a bureaucratic nightmare, regardless the country. Israel is just better and smarter when it comes to things like medicine, security, etc.

Because, as he says, they are our biggest threat right now. And you don't have to be Ray Bradbury to think through what will happen if these tech companies, who have too much unchecked power right now, decide to subvert our democracy. The Google search engine affects what people think and believe every single person every day. That is frightening. And this exchange happened in 2018, and what Tucker foresaw as far as what would happen, HAS happened. Except that while "just vote" was and always will be the answer, Google figured out how to affect change simply through a search algorithm so that before a person was into a voting machine, Google has already told you how to think and how to vote. They have gotten the chance to decide what people think. Look at the Twitter fiasco we just witnessed. Even Ray Bradbury couldn't have made this up!

And that is the definition of being and American, and has been since the 17th century. Being able to live freely, maintain your own culture and practice your religion freely, while respecting other's opinions and beliefs. And I also disagree about English being a foundational concept. I do agree (oddly) with Çenk as to the definition of our culture is being multiculturalism. But as Tucker says, everyone agreeing on our documents (as you mentioned) being the foundation of our country is needed to be a country. And is the definition of being an American. Ergo, I think people do want to come here just to be an American.

Thank you! I am not necessarily a Melania fan, and decidedly not a TYT fan (I watch so I have a balanced view of what is going on in the world). So therefore I found it incredibly distasteful when their "news report" devolved down to mocking an immigrant for what she has done or not done to the standard of TYT (as far as equating her with the Nazis). Especially with less than 2 weeks left. And by people who don't want to play fair when her speech writers have made mistakes--the same as Harris stole the "Fweedom" story--but they will never mention that. While I like to try to obtain fair and balanced reporting on my own (which means I have to watch different networks as balanced reporting does not even exist anymore), it is upsetting and frustrating that each side has sunk so low that neither report is barely watchable! What happened to standards in this country!!??

It doesn't occur to Çenk that they may want to find out all if the details, such as what happened before and after (and during, more clearly than what we can see)? I feel like there is so much more to this story that will come out. And I think the father could have embarrassed her just as easily if he proved it was his kids phone right then and there, on video. Was it due to his privilege that he just said no and walked off (in front of his son)? Yes, black people can also show privilege and bias. The video of him and his son afterwards and what his son said during the interview bothered me. I felt like the father, who was justifiably outraged, was explaining why the situation was wrong and the history behind it, in a moment of outrage and from a place of anger. I have been in similar situations and I have found that trying to explain prejudice to my kids when I am angry about something that just happened, always comes out all wrong. You can't explain centuries of prejudice while in a moment of crisis (for lack of a better term). It is a much bigger conversation and while the son seemed to have been sheltered from all of it, this may have not been the right time to sit him down and have the talk. But he needed to know the dog whistles for the media and bc Crump wanted him to vocalize them, which is very gratuitous, imho. The way this poor kid will end up internalizing everything will just make him confused and angry (likely at his parents for not preparing hin sooner). The way the Central Park Cooper situation played out,, and the compassion he showed afterwards,, even tho he didn't need to, was a much better example of the way to handle a situation like this. Rather than from a punitive state of retaliation (as everyone calls for her and the managers lives to be ruined. Along with the charges they demand be brought against them. All without people knowing the details. So far). Atleast from what I have seen so far. I am sure we will learn a lot more in the coming days...

So, you are mad that she asked a question that we ALL want answers to. And being that she IS Meghan McCain, co-host of the view (meaning that she has access to more people with the information we want), and still can't get answers, is a valid, important point. Maybe leas time complaining about Meghan and more time discussing the problem and how to get the answers??

He does not know how much the space is worth... yup! That is true! And while that is a lot of money, after 30 years in the business (until 2020 when I canceled every meeting, conference and event in the schedule and have not worked a day), it is not an impossible amount.

I was reading the comments section of a recent podcast on how Meng Wanzhou was "kidnapped" but the Canadians and how it was such an injustice and how awful the US is and how the Canadians are just our puppets, etc. Not ONE single comment on why she was arrested, let alone a discussion as to whether or not it was justified. Reading through those naive comments, one dumber than the next, proves how little people ate paying attention and/or how little people realize what an enormous threat it is. One person even said that she is a private citizen and they should have first shown proof that the CCP had any involvement before she was arrested...🙄

@amous11221 LOL, I happen to work in the hotel business so from a corporate standpoint, I know the frustration when there is a young MOD working who gets into a situation that just makes you shake your head and say "what was he thinking?" But there is a part of the video where he tells he to be quiet and get out of the way and points her to stand in the corner and shut up. She only listened for a minute, and he was clearly overwhelmed and not thinking, at all, let alone able to come up with the correct way to handle the situation. But at that point, who else was going to mediate so it didn't escalate? Everyone was yelling. The man dismissed the manager and walked away while she went after him. I can imagine what was going on during all of this, and I really don't think the manager was making it into a racial thing. The hotel business, especially in NY, is very international. And nothing ever surprises us. The wealthiest guy can look homeless and the guy who runs off on the bill could be a billionaire. Race doesn't play into it. I think he was just a kid who had no clue how to handle it. He wasn't thinking about the fact that this scenario could play out--he didn't think at all. Hence the problem. Likely a training issue. And the Arlo will pay. Crump will be sure of it.

The press conference going on right now is an insult to every black kid who was shot in a situation of itchy (white) trigger finger. But Sharpton and Crump have a different agenda. These people have just become pawns in all this.

@amous11221 Any parent will always see it differently than a 14 year old. That is our job as a parent. And as you said, like I had mentioned, it is primarily a training issue (preventatively), and truthfully, what would make the biggest impact on the corporate world would be if the manager (after he is canceled, as he will be) sued the hotel for "lack of appropriate preventative training" that put him in this mess to begin with. Otherwise, corporate America will never feel the pressure it needs to in order for things like this not to happen again. But again, while the manager appears to be a clueless kid himself, the hotel industry is one industry where staff only make assumptions one time (the first time) and then they are usually schooled. You just never know who the guest is checking in. It literally happens every day. He just got nailed by a random lunatic and will learn the hard way. Hopefully it affects some change on the corporate level.

When was this video filmed? We already know that she is not Vietnamese. We also know that the Uber did not have her phone, as Miya walked into the hotel with her phone and the hotel had her phone in their possession. We also know that even her attorney stated that Miya went off the rails and was uncontrollable, as well as being worried for her own mental health and stability, as Miya was clearly not listening to her or even playing with a full deck. The CBS interview has explained all of that.

How is any of that acceptable??? And they could believe some of the survivors (like his family or mine), if they bothered to ask. Border patrol detention centers don't have gas chambers in them. Unfortunately most of the people who saw them will never have the opportunity to tell anyone about it. And I can tell you for a fact, that Ben Shapiro very much does care about Concentration camps. My father was born in Istanbul. He would be mortified by these people.
