I actually wonder if Jill Biden knows human decency at all! What she has done to him is appalling! No one who is even remotely, possibly sick or just too old to work 20 hours a day, should not be forced to--We have laws against that! Even watching this is painful. He said he had a phone call with the Holy Father...huh??? And the tangents he goes off on--even though he clearly has the questions in front of him as you can see him reading off the answers--he obviously gets confused easily and forgets things. Which is fine. But not for the President of the United States!

@jockyoung4491 For Biden and Harris? Yes. I hate them. I think they are complete misfits and will be terrible at their job. Biden had 50 years and did nothing, why should we believe he will do something now? And Harris is nothing more than a low level beaurocrat who somehow was catapulted into the VP position purely for OPTICS! BUT she changes her views and opinions with the wind--I live in CA and have been following her for years. And moreover, she is NOT ready to be President however she likely will be when they push Biden too far that they have to invoke the 25th and Harris becomes President! We have ZERO idea of what platform Biden was even running on as he shut the press out and the few things he DID say were just about how he was going to make sure that he listens to the scientists. Not what he would do thereafter, nothing about a stimulus package (which the Dems could have passed and then maybe would have done better in the Senate and the House), nothing about the econony.... Harris doesn't even agree with Biden on most things, yet changed her tune to get the job. But if she becomes President, do we have any clue what she will do??? Unfortunately, no. Everything I have seen from them or from their campaign has been sad and pathetic and when Biden speaks, no one even understands what he is on about--even though he clearly got the questions and was able to prepare answers beforehand. It is a JOKE!!!

@jockyoung4491 Who is the Holy Father? Isn't that supposed to be God?? Didn't he mean the Pope??? Or is he just blindly alienating everyone who is NOT catholic with his first speech out of the gate? That really makes me feel like he understands inclusivity and how to bring the temperature of the nation down and bring everyone in the country together in unity... 🙄

There should be a policy that those who are here already and working should get citizenship which helps all involved. And only then should we look at bringing new people into the country, or even legalized those who are here illegally, but are not employed..

That is not why the Chinese wear masks. Culturally they wear them to be polite, when they are sick and don't want to infect others. Same in Japan and the rest of Asia. Now they are being used prophylactically but they are not designed for such use. They do however reduce the amount one touches their face and then someone/something else, which can help.

@Mike Siler1 I recently have been using YouTube as my go-to for info as I have been tracking this virus all over the world since January due to work. I often get caught up in the comments section bc it amazes me how much common knowledge and information just goes right over people's heads. I have 4 teenagers and they are better informed than most! It scares me for the future of our country.... (not to mention when I watch International news in other languages and read what they say about us as Americans! Thanks goodness that Biden isn't all over the news these days!!)

@Mike Siler1 While many want Trump out of office, until Biden names his running mate (who will be whom you are actually voting for), it isn't really a discussion. As much as you may want Trump out, would you really feel safe with Biden in office? Would you honestly feel that voting for Biden is a responsible use of your vote? There were some very capable Democratic nominees. How did we get here? Talk about a bait and switch. I do not trust the Democratic party right now. Regardless how ridiculous Trump sounds. Now, if I could only figure out how to submit my PPP application.....

@Mike Siler1 IF Biden wins... remember back when you said we would be fine for one term... you may not be familiar with dementia but that is an eternity away for someone battling the disease. Especially when your job involves meetings all day long, decision making on behalf of an entire country, and very little sleep to go with it (and that is all on a good day, with no stress and in one time zone). If Biden actually had to fly around the country and campaign, this would be a very different conversation....

@johnnytorres277 That is just the way it is done... it is broadcast all over the world and pings off of a secure satellite. But with the security, comes a delay. Just how it is set up....

@johnnytorres277 It is great that you have a strong, stable connection and enough bandwidth to get done what you need to, wherever you live. However, certain people, like reporters/news agencies, can't count on a wonky connection or needing to report from somewhere still running on 2G, or somewhere where there is no internet at all. Security concerns aside, a satellite uplink is much more reliable than everyday, standard internet, so that is what they use.

@Mike Siler1 Interesting you bring up the supreme court. I just the other day gave my girls (one who will be able to vote starting tomorrow) a lesson in Roe v Wade and how we can never let that be overturned. As well as a lesson on the difference between pro-life and pro-choice. And that even though we vote conservatively, and they understand why, there are a few things that we will not abide. A vote for the right does not necessarily mean that we agree with everything they stand for. Just as even though we support Trump (largely for personal reasons), we do not agree with everything he does, says, or stands for.

I have a 19 and an 18 year old (and a 16 and 15 year old). None of them watch TV in the traditional sense. And if they do watch a network TV series, they do it on Hulu, Netflix or Prime. The only time they even pick up the cable remote is to change the volume!

@ArronP I also immediately thought of JFK Jr. when this happened. However the comments here are misguided and misinformed. Kobe had been traveling via his personal copter--a twin engine luxury model of which there were only 1,000 made. Used by the military, medical crew and corporate VIP's for similar reasons. He had a longtime, experienced pilot and only traveled with him. There is NO way Kobe could have accomplished all that he did in life without it, considering the distances he had to travel daily in LA traffic. We still have yet to hear the report and what really happened but the fog here was awful Sunday morning. Even LAPD had grounded their helicopters. However that Kobe used a helicopter to travel and therefore spend more time with his family was a very smart decision (very different than the JFK Jr. situation all around, but that was equally devastating at the time.).

Look up Fergie, who got way worse press than Meghan ever did. And look up Queen Charlotte and the fact that Meghan is not the first mixed-race Royal in the British Family.

@AAO-92 He was not isolated for the rest of his life. He was ostracized. The Duke made his choice, blinded by love, not thinking things would turn out as they did, but Wallis was by his side his entire life (did she have a choice at that point?). Their biggest sore spot was that she was never given an HRH. However they were still given a very generous allowance and never had to work. Even though David even wanted to at many points later on, yet he had to ask permission just to be let back into the country. And because of them, the Queen's entire life and destiny changed and she became one of England's longest reigning and most admired Queens in history. Yet I am sure she still remembers the events very clearly and this must all be very painful for her.

@paulettehammond-duerson8989 I know. It is absolutely reprehensible! Unfortunately, bc of my job, I have had to read every story, watch every video and track every update (from reliable sources). I even watched the North Korean news clip (that one was crazy!). And thru it all I also watched the people on the cruise ship who selfishly just wanted to cut and run. Yes, they were all going stir crazy. But you could see who was only thinking of themselves and who got the big picture. That was what was scary. And then the Japanese just let them loose. And some ran right back into society. Why not just sit on your couch for 2 weeks and watch Netflix, glad you are finally home?

@BBoiiLite You are right. NONE of us know what he was thinking. What I can tell you for sure is that Kobe likely said "I don't want to be late for the game." He would never be late. What happened beyond that will remain a mystery.
