  2. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. In Israel, bodies are also put directly into the ground--the body is shrouded, put onto a wood plank, and slipped back into the earth. No casket. In the US, bodies in Jewish cemeteries are put into plain pine boxes. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

  4.  @sleepingtoss  Ah, ok, thank you! I got a few snarky responses, but this was the only thing I heard that made sense. I don't think it was widely covered in the US. I will take my (snarky) post down. No country should have to deal with terrorism of any kind!

  6. An update to my snarky post above, provided by another viewer--there was a terror attack in Switzerland this week. That is why they need your prayers. (Regardless if they are a Christian country or not).
