The Washington Post and this reporter should be ashamed of themselves! It is a sad day when Al Jazeera does a better job reporting on the ultra Orthodox community (who does not have Televisions, Internet or read the mainstream news.). Pathetic! And as you can see from the comments, the only thing The Washington Post accomplished was spurring on hate and anti-semitism, from ignorance instead of information and news. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Yes, when you change a word here or there--like Free or a Trillion--it's not a big deal! Why in the world is everyone on her case about something like "how are we going to pay for that?" 🙄

With some of the highest taxes in the world! And while they do have a NHS, free schooling (through college), and a good retirement program for everyone, they also have many of the same problems we have here in the US!

@FlexBeanbag No it isn't. All my Canadian friends "buy up" and pay extra for access to private care outside of the NHS network. Otherwise one has to wait forever to be treated, and even then, they don't like the level of care. AOC's pie in the sky plans are just that. And what is worse, not only are they not attainable, they are not "free". Yet she keeps telling people that it will be and no one understands that it would come from higher taxation on everyone. But she doesn't even get it so how can she explain it?

Is this really from the Washington Post?? Or some HS newspaper You Tube channel? I am not be factitious--I am really asking. Not only is it so unprofessional, it reeks of desperation. And in a week where the Democrats don't need one more thing that would embarrass themselves, this would be better off being taken down. They really just don't know when to quit, do they? They have nothing to run on. "I don't like Trump" is NOT a platform. It will not inspire the American people to vote for them. That they can't see that is their biggest problem in itself!
