That poor kid at 22 mins in, with parent who (care!) and give him a curfew, doesn't really know what he needs to do to get where he wants to. But he clearly grew up with a religious foundation and respect for his parents and he wants to work and earn money, but doesn't know how to do it. He has the basic theory of capitalism, he just needs guidance on how to get there. And the people around him are confusing him and taking him down the wrong path...(and we did not see him coming to him with a business proposal. Or even ask for an email address until he was yelling at him that he hadn't given him one.). Someone told him that people won't invest in his business, but will just hand over and fund his business. So sad. Why is he being told that he deserves free money from random people (the one percent). I am glad that he went out there. The people screaming at him, who won't even let him speak, are so uninformed it is ridiculous. The Walmart conversation? So cringe.

2 million dollars a year? After taxes, does he know what that comes out to? What about my 4 kids in college? After taxes? When someone gets in my face and tells me I need to give more of my hard earned money over at the expense of my children, I would also go play golf at that point. And I don't even play golf!

$0.50 an hour? Ok, sure. I will pay for half my staff to move. Not only will it spare me from governmental regulation, it will spare me from all the idiocy and broad statements about the 1% that no one can seem to define, yet everyone is angry about. When did it become a sin to own a business and make money? When did "I want you to take care of me and my family" become an acceptable statement? Why should someone who works hard and pays half of their money earned back to the government in taxes, now be told that it is too much. They must give even more of it away and support those who don't want to work at all. How is that ok?

We do. Any basic economics class teaches the history of economics as you can't understand how we got here today without knowing the history behind it. Someone randomly stating the Peter makes too much money, and refusing to answer his questions clearly were not paying attention to what was being taught in school.

I am still waiting for someone to define the 1% and why people are so against them. There is no way that the 1% will ever advocate for socialism, which is what all these people want. And secondly, I paid health insurance for all my staff for 15 years. When I finally realized that 5% of my gross was going to Healthcare, and that only TWO staff members remembered that they had insurance, and ZERO staff members had EVER used it, I put it back into my gross, which helped me eventually pay higher wages. Which helped my staff.. and which helped me get better staff (who never even asked about health insurance as the demographic of my staff is young and they think they will live forever). Which helped my clients. Why is that bad??
