He is sick. They both have tested positive since the press conference.

I am a Trump supporter, but I still think people should get the facts right. Trump DID put kids in cages. Not just kids, but entire families. Cages that OBAMA built. Then he reversed his policy--he touched on that in the last debate. The 500+ kids currently separated from their parents, was a deliberate move by most of those parents who have been located, but do not want their kids to go back to their own country as they are better off with family members in the US. But the Democrats are too busy calling Trump Xenophobic bc they think he was talking about the animals when he said Coyotes, that they are not reporting on it!

@edmomeni Wait, you think Ebola, and Covid-19 are fake with staged victims?? So if there is a vaccine you won't take it? Let me guess, you also think the Holocaust was a fake? (Which would be convenient as I think any BDS supporter should put their money--and life--where their mouth is, and not be allowed the vaccine, should Israel develop it first!)

It is already in Brazil. But the vector for Coronavirus is not a mosquito. However Brazil already has enough problems with mosquito based vector diseases such as Dengue (which I unfortunately contracted in Rio during an outbreak. But didn't know I had it until I got sick 7 months later with West Nile. As the CDC was testing me, they discovered I had Dengue from my Rio trip). Or perhaps Brazil is the best equipped country to handle an inevitable outbreak in Latin America? We shall see...

Just goes to show how we will watch, and talk about anything. Even when the reporters have no clue what is going on. Every knows in the US that she and Oprah have been friends for a while. Oprah was at the wedding. Everyone across the US and commonwealth knows they need the money. And the comment about Charles and the trees is just silly! Even those who don't love him know he is a huge environmentalist! Do some research first!

@notsogreen Unfortunately, I know what will happen if I get infected and catch Coronavirus. Sometimes, when I get a cold (which is rare), I can feel my Dengue kicking up. My hands are practically raw from handwashing. Luckily I work from home. But my husband is a doctor and I have 4 kids, so who knows what they are bringing home...

@notsogreen the vector for Covid-19 is not the mosquito. Completely different diseases, different vectors. But Dengue, if you catch it, lies dormant, and can pop back up, should you catch another respiratory illness. Anyone with Dengue (like myself), is considered high-risk.

@notsogreen It was not painful. I would say more uncomfortable. Of course it has a lot to do with how healthy you are overall to begin with. In Africa, in many places, they start out with a poor immune system. Rio had another terrible outbreak last year. Not sure, but it likely hit hard in the favelas where the standard of living is shocking! I threw my shoes out after I visited them!

@notsogreen There are 5 different kinds. The worst being Dengue hemorrhagic fever, which it sounds like she had. Since I caught it, they came up with a vaccine. In 2015. So you should be ok if you go to Africa. Don't keep thinking about what you saw. Medicine is always changing and evolving. 3 months ago, Covid-19 was not even a thing (the 19 was for the year 2019, bc there are so many strains of Coronavirus. Why they said Novel at first before they named it). In 2 years, it will hopefully be a bad memory.

@notsogreen But just for a good laugh (at my bad luck), the second case in NY that was announced today is someone VERY tangentially connected to me. And 3,000 miles away. But our families may have crossed paths recently (trying to find out), and he has supposedly been sick since January! His son is also showing symptoms and they closed the schools of the family's kids. The week before a big Countrywide Bball tournament is about to be held that my kids attend, but I am sure (I hope) they will cancel...they are disinfecting the University now and I guess I will hear in the morning (but I already told the kids no.). My typical luck. Crazy, right? But I am still here to tell the stories! Stay healthy and hopeful!!

They are not orphaned. They still have parents. And the parents purposely sent them via Coyote knowing that they would either get to LA or SD, etc to where they had family waiting. Or they would be picked up by ICE. Either way, they decided those were better options than what situation they are currently in. And the parents have been contacted, they just want their kids to stay in the US. It is, unfortunately, very common here.

While France24 usually has good coverage in both English and French (they are considered a large outlet in France), this was an exceptionally good report. I speak 5 languages and always watch all the variations of news I can, as I find that you get very different perspectives from different countries in newa from different languages. BBC also has good daily overall coverage (and the male presenter is even entertaining!).

Because they don't have the answer to that question. Everyone is very open about that. It is the only thing they can seem to agree on.

@rubenuidam8684 Except you will have a hard time getting into Iraq with an Israeli stamp in your passport!
