  1. The other stupidity is that the schools in the zip codes of the religious schools HAVE BEEN CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS! That is why everyone is getting sick! They have been going to synagogue and/or having family meals together to celebrate the holidays. School is in no way the problem. The Orthodox communities have been very strict about synagogue groups and making them smaller, and even with shorter prayer services (and in backyards when possible. And only with masks.) The Ultra-Orthodox, Chassidic community has NOT been careful... Hopefully they discuss that when they meet face to face tomorrow!
