I am normally with the Five, but having had a board meeting last night (of a private high school), where the chair focuses mainly (only) on the topics he is interested in, I thought back to when we used to have committees to work on things like finance, budget, financial aid, develop, fundraising, etc. And then each chair would report back to the committee as ti what they had discussed and decided. It was a much more efficient way to spend 2 hours.
