@vickijenkins417 Spelling IS important! And the fact that so many don't understand that, or take education seriously enough, is creating huge problems for society today. It absolutely does affect my fellow man, as one can only get so far in life with poor written English skills. Be it spelling, proofreading, or punctuation. Which does not seem to be a priority to anyone in this chat!

@tommy gunnor WHO cares?? First, your teachers. If you are misspelling words you have already been taught, it is just lazy. Then when you apply for a job, your employer cares. Spellchecker and Grammar check are readily available and not using it is again, just plain lazy. I won't even bring someone in for an interview if the applicant couldn't be bothered to spellcheck the resume submitted. If you can't be bothered, why should I?
