So glad you have brought this up. When I googled her (when I first noticed her), and saw that she was from Yorktown Heights (and went to YH High), where some of my good friends grew up (and went to HS), I laughed out loud! Yorktown is the quintessential suburb--mostly Jewish (tho she was a minority as she is Catholic), where people pay a ton for a house bc they have a great school system that funnels into Ivy's and other top tier schools (she graduated Cum Laude from BU--also commonly known as BJew), and the parents can commute to their jobs in the city. It has been like that for atleast 50 years. I have no clue what turned her into the character she portrays--"AOC"--But she worked on the Hill for (wait for it) TED KENNEDY... and if you also read her wiki page, there is something that just does not make sense. Her parents worked hard to move to the burbs so she could get a good education and live in a nice, safe area in a house, yet she seems to want to erase the fact that her parents achieved "the American dream". Kind of sad. And disrespectful to her parents (her mother. Her dad sadly passed). Nonetheless, I am sure her mom is proud. But she is not being honest!
