@nessawalsh1499 we do have affordable housing for those who qualify, same as Europe. And we He public Education. There is also Medicaid for those who need it. However, most Americans who are above the poverty line cannot get free Healthcare. The system is set up differently in Europe. In Germany for example, one pays much higher taxes (60%), which means that everyone has access to the Krankenkasse. But many still pay extra for privatized insurance so they don't have to wait so long for tests, appointments or vital care. And healthcare is still run by private companies who are granted the contract on a bid basis. Whereas in China, there is no privatization of medical care. It is all government run.

@Johnny Boone I assume that Nessa is a young European with an honest question. Your cynical answer, aside from not actually being an answer at all, isn't going to help... every European country has a stock market and wealthy Conservatives who make up their 1%.
