  5.  @ancientlink116  You retired in Mexico? But you lived and worked in the US prior to moving to Mexico? So you contributed to the American economy and paid unemployment taxes in the US for years. Why wouldn't you be eligible for benefits? Spend them wherever you want!

But if you have been working and paying taxes, then it is your money, so why wouldn't you want it? Those of us who have been paying into our unemployment benefits all these years deserve it. Why would we send it back?

  8.  Jon Linus  I work hard for that money, as do my employees. We have been paying into our unemployment fund for years. It is mine and I intend to use it. I need it for my family just as I need it to continue paying my employees. That is what it is there for!
