  1. Did you, or your son, make further inquiries? Send an email and explain what happened and ask for a reason (so you have it in writing). Then call an attorney. Or the Tucker Carlson show. This sounds like something much bigger than you may be aware of!

  2. If you don't bank with BofA, and never have, who do you bank with? Why do people think that this is only happening at BofA? As they said, "All banks must comply with the law". How do we know that other banks are not doing the same? Such as the one you have been banking with?
