@willoughbykrenzteinburg I like the way you broke that down. Unfortunately way too many people just don't get it!! I am FAR from a billionaire, but most people would consider me part of the 1%. And while that may have been the case in January, things have changed drastically and while it may be on a different level--I thank God don't have to wait in line at a food bank (yet)--I am still struggling to pay my employees, keep my businesses and family afloat, and worry about the future of all of us. And I am only here because I wanted to know why Pelosi thinks a payroll cut is out of the question... not that she answered the question...stay safe!

@dookiehoser3051 Tell the idiot who said that those who make more money should pay more in taxes (as if I don't pay enough already being in the highest tax bracket!). And I only came here to hear what Pelosi had to say about why she is against tax brakes. As if EVERY corporation is enormous and making billions of dollars...

@PFCD I own two. They are not publicly traded, there are no shareholders apart from the Pres, VP and Secretary. But we are still essential services and have managed, with a struggle, to stay open, keep our staff safe and employed and our patients cared for. People need to be more specific if they want to make blanket statements about "corporations". We work hard to make our money. We pay taxes--corporate and personal (in the highest tax bracket)--yet Pelosi doesn't want to give us a tax break!
