  3.  Sammy Slaughter  That is not what happened. While she absolutely did the right thing, she did not definitively know what the consequences of her actions would be. Yes, she acted on instinct and did the right thing. However if she did not care about the ramifications of her actions, she would not be asking for what was taken away from her.

  4.  @josephgordon3608  You cannot compare her to Colin Kapernack. He still has plenty of money and knew that even if he lost his job he would be able to go on and live his best life. She is now left with 5 children she cannot even provide for. I don't care what color he is, but his action came from a position of privilege. If he were black and we were comparing the two, people would be condemning him for his white privilege....

  5.  Sammy Slaughter  Depending on where one lives, the tides are turning. In some, more advanced places, cops already do the right thing on the whole as that is what is expected of them. In some other places, they still need to catch up. I completely disagree with the way it is happening nor do I think we should defund the police. However one who knows right from wrong acts accordingly in the moment.
