He is right about our kids only knowing "this America". And my children have also asked us of we are getting a gun, bc their friends parents have, which we found shocking. But they did not ask last night, they asked after the BLM "protests" and after we had ppl spill into our neighborhood with guns and baseball bats. Those "protests" were riots. And they were violent. Our block had to hire armed security for 2 nights in a row.. The debate and whatever was said last night was not why my kids are concerned. It is the culmination of everything that has gone on. And what my kids are seeing happen to this country. And from their view, it is the left they are afraid of and feel they need protection from. They now associate BLM with violence, and that is not what we have taught them nor what they should have seen come to pass.
