Lil chief dinero fan 1609 What people don't understand about the cartels is that they are like a large corporation with more money, power, and influence than the government. They are a hugh functioning business. A well oiled machine. And they want the general population to be healthy and happy and moreover, indebted to them.. and afraid of them at the same time. They throw their influence around without hesitation and even the police and their elected officials fear them. Those who work for them and are loyal, good workers, are well taken care of. Like at any company.

@defiance1790 LOL, I was going to say..."where is there a base in Cabo???" I go there a few times a year for ages as it is close. Definitely no base there! Haven't been in PV a while and can't picture or recall any army presence? What are we doing there? Acapulco has been a hellhole for years! When you go to the Costco, there are bullet holes in the wall! But Mexico does have a high literacy rate! Even better than the US!

Lil chief dinero fan 1609 Not sure why you are so desperate to go to strip clubs in MC, but it is a beautiful city with stunning architecture, great restaurants wonderful music, museums and culture....definitely worth a visit! And Mexico is our neighbor--that is why we care what goes on down there!

You are getting money in the new Stimulus bill! Instead of American getting help from Congress, there are millions of dollar ping to Palestine, Pakistan, Jordan, and plenty of other places and projects outside of the US.
