  1.  @elpelu123  Garbage disposals are not legal in New York City, so she likely did not grow up with one. Even though she moved to Westchester at 5 years of age. I have plenty of complaints about her, but I will give her this one. I got my first one when we bought our first house at 25 years old. I had to ask my husband how to use it, and 25 years later, I can probably count on 1 hand how many times I have used it since, lol! (And I hate them--they are scary and smelly!! LOL)

  2. IF she were actually from the Bronx, and not Yorktown Heights, I would give her a pass, as the Island of Manhattan (and the Bronx) does not allow garbage disposals. BUT... she isn't. And I am sure the big house she grew up in had a garbage disposal. Although maybe her housekeeper never showed her how it work? (And I only bring it up bc that is why MY kids don't know how to use ours... but I am not ashamed or embarrassed to say so!)
