  1. On my mother's death bed I thought, it is now or never...so I called her out and went over many of the things she "did wrong". She shrugged her shoulders and said "well, I tried. I did the best I could." It was very anticlimactic. But I guess it was something (and in her eyes she didn't do so poorly bc I am the complete opposite of her and she was always very proud of me as an adult. She just never said it to my face.). At least she taught me everything NOT to do.
