  1. ​@nmoltmaker That was good. I think to see a bias, you have to allow people to talk. It is hard to say whether in some cases they simply lie or they do not see their bias. Human psyche is complex but at the same time biased. Usually simplifies things via heuristics, cognitive dissonance, logical errors, as a result simplifying very complex reality. Especially if strong emotions come into picture. It can distort thinking to a great extend. We can notice these pattern while being in a long term contact & deep relationship with a person. Getting to know them well. Only in open meeting of two minds or a few minds, we can attempt to correct mutual biases & find understanding & empathy. Not to mention self- development & spiritual growth on both sides to arrive at compassion and solutions to complex, conflicting issues.
