  1. Heartbreak feels like death. Deaths of beloved ones break our hearts. It takes the courage of a spirit not to become cynical and mistrustful. From my experience in working with people and being really emotionally close with them, l can say that making deep connections with new people, regardless of previous difficult experiences and losses, might be one way of staying open, trustful and immuned to cynicism. I think it is because we get to know people more deeply and see their vulnerability as well as we constantly practice care and love, which awakens the spirit.
