  1. I think that builder was being tactical with you to put you off bidding! Yes, it needed a lot of work all the same but, Sparta from the roof work and the damp, most of it you can diy it. Damp course, wiring,plastering, new ceilings. We tackled it all, sold fir a good profit, onto the next one..👍👍👏

  3. Stupid prices in London! I have never understood what the lure is about London? I Spent my youth there due to family living there. Then courting my fiancé he loved going to the “In shops” fashion in 70’s, London was the place to go for the latest fashions. I was never bothered. He was. Needless to say, we never lasted. Hahahaha!

  4. Up North, Worlds apart! I know where I would buy and it isn’t London! I was wise and bought my council house, by the sea and it’s large. It’s a home where I raised our seven children, still here in it, and still full of children, my Grandkids and their Mother plus two sons. Just how I like it! Lived here now for 47 years…👍👍👍💜

  6. Our only visit to Blackpool was to collect a car we had bought. We had to stay overnight, it was a Ghost town, so run down! Beachfront “Hotel” awful hotel. We went out to get fish and chips , I was sat in the car waiting for my husband and Bang! It was a Christmas pudding thrown from the flats that hit our car, it left me curious about Blackpool. I was informed that mostly transient people stay there, 80%! I just thought it was very run down. I would not wish to revisit it.
