  1. Let me just say, nine hospitals used a new directive by joining together to send out the offer of a free Lung scan. My husband and I took up the offer. His results were clear, mine however showed a small mass at the base of my right lung. Yes, it was cancer. Normally from diagnosis to treatment it would take two months at the latest. I have had so many scans operations to take samples (Three) only yesterday did we finally get the go ahead for my operation to commence, when that will be we do not know. Going through the fear of also that upper nodes could have over this time become cancerous also. Yesterdays result after my operated to cut my throat and take samples on them they are clear! Now the waiting game continues. We then many do not have the luxury of time of the finances to go private. I knew that something must be going on with the NHS judging from my treatment and the length of time! So far the time period is..SIX MONTHS! And Cancer shouts out Yeah Man, time to grow and to spread! My question is this. If since 2015 the NHS has been ‘Failing” why would they link up nine hospitals together and send out offers on mass to the public for free Lung Scans? Easy answer? They would not! Once again the Smoke and Mirrors approach by main Government. Too many of “Mates fingers in the NHS honeypot”…
