  1. Oh that all were interested in their children’s education. But that is another subject. All of mine I would have after school fun teaching once they all had their desserts. History, math, geography, all,those main subjects. Colourful, descriptive books. Schools can give so much but, I believe parents should be educating their children also. What is one hour per week day out of time? Nothing. They have grown to be fortunate in their chosen fields some have excelled, one I recent,y discovered walked Princess Ann on a tour of a facility that supports our Armed Forces. I was informed that due to his dyslexia when he was four that he would not flourish. He is a whizz kid with computers, has been from a young age when we invested in a home computer when they were very expensive but, we sacrificed so our children could learn more in play. A chef, another runs her own nursery, another is liaison officer for our fighting forces too, another leads teams in the field of technology for a large company, I could go on,they have all done well, two are disabled but independent, they worked the hardest. Education truly is all. Every child should have a good education, not to Expect schools to give them it all.
