  1. The Republicans have always put big business before people. That's nothing new. What is new is the Reagan era "family values" nonsense, all over a sitcom at the time that showed a single woman getting pregnant. That started the fall. Then came the insanity of Palin and the tea party nuts. It was only a matter of time before they went full judgmental and FASCIST. This would include the Opus Dei and Christian Nationalist movements. It was a natural progression for them. Choosing trump as their nominee 8 years ago was the worst thing they could have ever done. Their party has paid the price, but sadly, the rest of us have become collateral damage.
