  1. Our judicial system is ridiculous when dealing with child predators. You simply cannot rehabilitate these people and they need to be taken out of society. Background checks need to be stricter also. How did this predator keep slipping through the cracks???

  6. At the very minimum, she should be charged with child neglect and ENDANGERMENT. I think she knew that child was already dead, why else did she give that rehearsed interview with her legs bouncing up and down and the monster lurking behind her? I've seen many interviews of parents of missing children and NONE of them behaved like that.

  7. I feel poor Madeline told somebody something. Whether it was a friend, family member or someone else. What was on her phone? What was on her computer? Was she texting someone about the hell that she was living? Someone knows. And someone didn't report it. When I was molested at 11 I told my Mom but she told me to hush because it would have caused friction with the other family involved. So I cried and kept it to myself for many years. When other incidents happened along the way in my life, I kept silent. So, it is possible Madeline kept the secret. I hope she has a very special place in Heaven with the angels and will never be hurt again. I wish a special place in hell for those who hurt her or ignored her pain.

  11. Kayla says she's not a cold hearted person? What a crock of bull. She sat on her a$$ while he beat that child to death. All she had to do was get out of the car and call for help. She should be in prison for life. if she can say she'll always have a place in her heart for that walking piece of slime, she is evil beyond redemption. I worry for her children because she'll probably go and find another abusive monster to share "the rest of her life" with.

I would have either asked for the day off or called in sick. I cannot imagine someone like her having such a responsible position that they couldn't do without her for one day.   26. I don't trust Jenn at all. Her story changed too many times. Why doesn't anyone do a deep dive into that? It's frustrating!!! Also I think the psychologist meant "failure to launch", not "failure to thrive". If he had the latter one, he would have died an infant. The other thing is that SS was apparently into p0rn, and science now shows that consistent p0rn use changes the brains chemistry and is just as much an addiction problem as alcohol and drugs. It's also one of the main causes of sexual dysfunction.

  40. I think it's telling that there has been no memorial service for this child. Where is Jenn? People and the media camped out outside the residence of the Laundries. Not that I approve of that, but it's very sad that there is just silence about Maddie. She has extended family. She has friends and teachers, but nobody is doing anything in her memory??
