  2. I find it fascinating that some modern Americans are pro-NeoSoviet. The early Cold War was so long ago and our primary education system has been trash since the 1970s so ignorance is no surprise, but but to support Russia is to support the entity responsible for the entire global Left. When the USSR was first contained no one was naively squalling for an end date because the conflict was understood to be cultural and PERMANENT. Russia has never not been an existential threat to Western civilization. Russia is not European, it is Asiatic and can never share civilized morality. Its victims in eastern Europe from Finland south know the score.

Intelligence is arguably neurodivergent. Beware the mistake intelligent oldsters tend to make of assuming their chronological peers are more than human sandbags. Evolution used to keep populations young and adaptive but technology has ended natural selection. Idiocracy followed and it's here to stay.

  6. The towns they're damaging did not make them homeless. In many cases their own free adult choice to be criminals, addicts or just freely making terrible life choices put them there. I've met way too many to buy that they're all victims. The worst are the fake vets (I counsel other vets so I offer to drive them to the VA office, haven't had a taker yet). There needs to be a way to control these people or the innocent majority lose.
