  1. Replacing the obsolete HMMWV which was never intended for direct combat is many years and many casualties overdue. GWOT advanced the design of "armored cars" with combat experience so it's time to put that to work. To survive JLTV will require organic anti-drone systems and those don't exist at scale yet.
