  1. I've seen far better welds from farmers (including my welding instructorwho was also a pipeliner). Everything about that "repair" was obviously inexcusable trash. We trained students straight off the block and their first day welds looked far better than that. Farmers with sense have built and modded all sorts of equipment using 6011 and an AC transformer machine (the old industrial units from when high OCV AC was much more common have some very nice arcs). At least the owner of that drawbar brought it to a competent repairman.
