  1. Nobody needs a new HD given their vast customization options and aftermarket support that goes far beyond dealers. The market is already softening as the core demographic ages out so for the same money you can have an amazing motorcycle built YOUR way. Why do people even buy more than one new big twin since they're easy to ride for a lifetime and for that kind of money you can own multiple classics or custom build whatever you can imagine? There are so many low mileage barely used machines it's a no brainer even if you have enough to buy a new bike with cash. (I do but I like many already have a very full stable from Panhead onward.) Ultra-Woke HD isn't getting any more of my money when plenty of quality aftermarket makers offer anything I might want.
