  1. WTC was considered excessive when it was constructed but opponents lost. The dense urban model should be rejected because NYC is already overcrowded. Like Robert Moses neighborhood-disrupting roads, enormous non-residential structures are a waste not least because PHYSICAL COMMUTING is a polluting energy waste. Workers go to NYC to make money not out of pleasure.
