  1. Growth is bad for current residents. Growth is only good if you're SELLING. That's why I don't follow the herd and chose residence in a guaranteed slow-growth area away from major cities. That let me pay off my home and keeps taxes low. Growth destroys the reasons communities grow in the first place. Growth ruins affordability.
