  1. Cities are bad. Don't live in one. That solves many problems before they happen. The US is enormous so it's silly to live anywhere you don't have every advantage. Worked superbly for me. I could never afford to retire in city and would not want to because you have zero freedom and are trapped with people who are of zero benefit to your life.
