  1. They wisely prefer to retain SOVEREIGNTY over their land and people. The EU is not improving as it expands elsewhere. The last fellow who wanted to unify Europe required a world war to stop. Why enable the tyranny of a collective? The further political power spreads the weaker the individual vote! EU membership gradually disenfranchises individuals by diluting the value of each vote.
