It makes perfect sense for colonial legacy populations to leave as SA returns to continental norms. What expats returning to their ancestral nations leave behind will return to local circulation. Colonialism is not truly reversed until colonial demographic legacy is completely reversed. Indigenous peoples are now free to choose their government for good or ill. Democracy is a sword with a very sharp handle.

Many of those romanticized small stores in impoverished flyover country were expensive and sold at such high markups they could and did often restock from retail stores in larger towns. Those were easy to out-compete because customers in poor areas are under pressure to minimize travel time and cost along with prices. HOWEVER as the video points out when dollar stores become local monopolies they can then raise prices just like the stores they replaced! There was never a convenience store near every trailer park but the power of dollar stores enabled serving those markets with ubiquitous facilities. BTW If the US want's better worker benefits (which it does not as the public are easily brainwashed) it could legislate them and workers could resume the struggle to organize labor, but that's not going to happen for too many reasons to fit in one thread. It's easier for employers to buy media and politicians therefore public mind share. This turns people functionally disadvantaged by labor policies into advocates for those policies. The only "solution" is individual escape and avoidance because the US economy is the proverbial bucket of crabs.

China is an enemy SOCIETY to the US, not a friendly society with a temporary enemy government. Mexico is our neighbor and natural economic ally! Keep American trade IN THE AMERICAS to fight poverty and benefit our peoples. The US trade imbalance with China means American taxpayers in fact pay for the entire CCP armed forces. That money should be spent closer to home.

@MegaLokopo I like your attitude because it works and I'm proof! Stick with it since a free mind has fewer self-imposed restrictions. I escaped urban life because it's expensive, oppressive and annoyed me. It's not only not hard to leave cities, all of which are horribly restrictive compared to areas with few neighbors and ample land, but it's liberating. Most humans are simple herd beasts who prefer not to think. I lead a methodically planned life so I escaped the NY metro. I could never own several acres where I was born and if I did would have no fun because densely populated areas effectively prohibit more than existing. Most people are easily deterred by what they see on the news and never look deeper. It's practical in many states to buy property on a modest wage, place a used mobile home or renovate a small cheap older home then pay that off and have low overhead for life. My poor friends legitimately on SSI disability still managed to own their homes because they bought what others did not want than made it good over time by their own labor and opportunistic buying of goods and services.

CA fails to push people out of state. There is no obligation to help people live everywhere they WANT to. Can't afford one place? Go somewhere else. I did early in life. The gold rush mentality results in people CA doesn't need filling it up. Incentivise people to leave by paying them, recoverable from any income if they come back. GROWTH IS BAD at this density. Those not liking it can go away or never show up in the first place. Good for the anti-crowding voters. They bought their property and rightly defend what is theirs. Rich corporates should move to other states.

AP mines are shunned by people who want to disarm the West against our enemies, but AT mines and especially artillery and other delivered mines are approved of because they're reasonably selective. Drones are undefiled by internal humanity. Drones (so far) are incapable of degenerate human emotions. They do not feel rage when other drones get smoked then take out that rage on innocent civilians. Drones are undefiled by mental exhaustion, stress, emotional distraction or ulterior motives.Drone LOAC compliance can be programmed and will only improve. Humanity unlike innocent (in the sense of being undefiled by emotions for the ability to be righteous implies the choice to be evil exists!) drone are malicious, lustful, greedy and bad. Methods suitable to dealing with good humans are not suited to dealing with bad ones who ideally would be liquidated not stored. Criminals are essentially primitives with primitive psychologies, especially in intellectually and socially primitive third world areas. Discard them into prisons until they're too old and broken to prey on good citizens if mass liquidations are impractical. The US is unable to address crime because ONLY THE PROCESS MATTERS to stakeholders, not the results. Democracy requires MATURE cultures with appropriate values because democracy is weak by design. That backfires when a nation is infected with animals better put to the sword and who at least should be removed from society for life. Good people don't need bad people or need to treat those with empathy when force is required. Most crimes are by repeat offenders so to end those crimes, end the offenders. The public have no moral obligation to their enemies and it's nice to see a real man step forward to do what is right without apology. Gangs are vermin unworthy of life, and so are their supporters. Salvadorans are rightly proud of Bukele for saving the nation. The communists and other liberals who condemn Bukele always favor evil over good, criminal over innocent citizens, and seek to impose their new world order advantageous to themselves. Weak, broken nations are easier to coerce, extort and trap with debt.
