  1. Doing so would be monumentally stupid because Americans are culturally unsuited to anything more than simple nation-state wars. Nothing was learnt from Southeast Asia,, Iraq or Afghanistan largely because our public are fiercely ignorant except when it comes to technology, and only the relatively few techies not the drooling masses EVER understood tech. CONTAINMENT is what broke the USSR. What happens INSIDE Iran is their collective adult choice.
