  1. There is no right way to do the wrong thing. That's why attempting to inflict secular democracy on cultures who NEVER ASKED FOR THAT was always doomed. Secular democracy requires modern precursor secular cultures (the reason the conquered Axis powers were so very easy to transform into modern democracies) who WANT what the US is selling. There should never be another attempt to remake other nations against popular culture. AQ are still comfy with the Talibs but 9/11 was an INTELLIGENCE failure and the operation could have been carried out from most anywhere.

  2. One limfac is that one side are terrified of firearms ownership let alone using them. They want "someone else" to put in work because their outlook is so naive they elected their opponent TWICE by incompetence they are unable to see as such.
