  1. Civilians should not have opinions on military aviation unless they have genuine personal expertise on the subject. The armed forces fly an enormous amount of hours and that makes some fatal mishaps normal. In other news the US loses over thirty thousand people to car crashes but all their survivors drive to the funeral because risk is part of life. I sleep like a baby on military aircraft because I maintained them for a living.
