  1. The wise personal choice is not to live in an expensive area in the first place. GROWTH IS BAD because it ruins the reasons people relocate to a given location. The smart move is choose a slow or no growth area to buy in. That gets you more land, fewer neighbors, more privacy and less crowding. Don't follow the herd, go in the opposite direction and win thereby.
