So is a serious steel security door with an internal bracing system which is impractical to kick in. (You can have a welder built a frame/door combo so stout it's impractical for even first responders to breach but have an exit.) Doors delay entry so an occupant can make it to their defensive weapon (unarmed humans are helpless against bigger, stronger or armed humans) and engage the enemy. Get your home off social media too. Only airheads want to vomit their lives onto the internet. Choose not to be one so robbers don't know you exist. Security through obscurity is wise. Do not buy objects whose (real) purpose is flaunting your wealth. Cities are bad but they're less bad if you're invisible. Never dress to look prosperous or weak (stereotypical women's clothing is like waving a steak at a pack of hyena). Everything is a potential threat but the answer is calm, comprehensive and thoughtful response. The world is a very bad place but only your situation is under your (somewhat) control. Choose wisely.
