  1. Russia can shrug off such light losses. Compare to WWII when it often lost over 100K in single battles. It's not physically possible for Ukraine to kill or wound enough Russians to have more than local effect given the Russian population of over 146 million.

  2. Russians have the same options to turn their weapons on their officers their forbears had in 1917. They have the option to surrender or desert rather than invade Ukraine. It's a false equivalence to equate rapist and victim.
