@FutilityOfReason That's not running cover. That's fact because actuaries don't go by feelings, they go by cold hard numbers. High unsecured debt reflects low intelligence and poor judgement therefore higher risk. Smart humans are lower risk customers. Debt is an informed adult choice. People without ruthless self-discipline had better be rich so they can afford to be foolish.

The wise live below our means and have no bad habits to adapt. The smart live well below our means when times are good and do nothing but prepare for inevitable bad times. I learned from my relatives who came up in the Great Depression. Many, many Americans are doing just fine but we don't make the news.

You can run liability only or self-bond in many states.

New York always sucked. I'm 64 and left the metro area in the early 1980s. There are plenty of rural towns in Red states which are still the old USA and well worth serving then retiring in.

In the end that's destructive however appealing it looks early on. Unwise spending is very common, like poor folks wasting money wearing someone else's hair or buying expensive vehicles on credit. I used to fix cars for a used car lot and that destroyed any respect I used to have for consumer intelligence. Except for farmers and tradies buying work trucks most folks really are mindless consumers who buy toys they don't need to impress people who don't care about them. The smart folks don't stay poor for long but most people waste time entertaining themselves with trifles instead of constantly self-educating.

There are good states where police are appreciated. NY is not one. Choose wisely.

@mikesteelheart The Silent Generation ran the US in the 1970s. Boomers were too young to be in power but the WWII generation was firmly entrenched.

Fund SSI and national health care from taxing the rich not the working class. Offloading taxes downward is a constant problem but no one is doing squat about that. Most humans are stupid without regard to the (artificial distinction of) generations. Stupid parents will make stupid choices including having kids in the first place which is PURELY an act of vanity and contributes only burden to an overpopulated world. If you want to fix the trust fund TAX THE RICH at the marginal tax rates of 1960 and stop letting the elites rob everyone blind. The average boomer had and has NO influence on anything because like any average drone they mean nothing and do not make policy. If you would focus your anger do so on those who make leadership choices for YOU, that being the politicians YOU elect.

Study why Strom Thurmond switched parties. An 1800s Democrat and a 2020s Democrat are vastly different.

Voters chose this and will continue to elect Democrats. When the US was a decent country the bums, drunks and junkies knew their place or got a nightstick in the family jewels in a back alley. I don't respect or care about worthless people because to do so devalues good citizens. We are not all the same and should not pretend otherwise.

Non-competes are absurd and those wanting them should remember business went on just fine before trying to own YOUR FORMER EMPLOYEES was commonplace. Anyone supporting them is a sellout and enemy of the working public, period full stop. Youtube should bring back the dislike button.

Black society in areas where modern popular culture (complete trash which promotes nothing healthy for anyone) is weaker often do well. Traditional rural areas with high church participation tend to have old, STABLE extended families. Humans need strong family units and thrive where they have them.

Government safety and emission requirements combined with grossly complex systems are pricing vehicles absurdly high. Design choices make them obscenely expensive to repair (I'm a mechanic) and so miserable to work on many mechanics leave the auto industry for much better jobs in aviation, heavy equipment etc. The general public have ZERO understanding of what they drive. Technology is magic to the low IQ majority so they are incapable of demanding more maintainable vehicles or voting with their wallets. Featuritis is to sell new vehicles, but the public don't understand issues like calibrating replacement windshields to sensor suites. They do however pay for it. Nothing will change for the better because like most of modern society the situation is far too complicated for normals (intelligence is neuro-divergent) to understand and such that even specialists rely on other specialists!

Just to be clear, it worked as intended and fire raids were equally "horrific" which was the point. Pro-peace Japanese interviewed afterwards said it helped their case for supporting surrender.

@simz88 "In the process" is NOT THE SAME and there was zero reason to trust Japan. Why given that context should anyone care about frying another two cities?

It can also provoke backlash. The US was not always ruled by pro-"Xeonists" such that free speech required bypassing Xeonist organizations filters.

Good. That's what they wanted, that's what they got and I don't live there.

That charges were pressed confirms the diary is factual. Senile Joe sure produced some winners....No wonder Epstein didn't kill himself.

@AmJusSaiyan Not even close. I was alive before Lyndon Baines Johnson was President. That was not the case until after LBJ knowingly chose to drive off the Dixiecrats who (with microscopic exceptions now mostly deceased of old age) migrated to the GOP and eventually took much of it over. They were able to do that because the old GOP northern WASP leadership thought too much of themselves and expected to control the new arrivals.

Sharing that is the fundamentally incompetent act of a person unfit for leadership. Presenting anything but a professional exterior is degenerate, weakminded, vain and incredibly un-self-aware. The cunning required to have an unintelligent public (intelligence is neuro-divergent and purely a matter of luck) elect you does not mean you're fit to lead. Politicians in the US are far too primitive and common for their own good. They should aspire to be far better than the sad average human.

The Left Coast rich ruined the US so I feel nothing for them. They are the enemy.

Tactical nuclear war is proven practical by atmospheric testing where the equivalent of one was detonated above ground by the US in testing. Look up "nuclear tourism" for some interesting pics and vids of the era. Tucker Carlson is a contrarian entertainer and an utter hack who only impresses military illiterates.

Like him or not, Diddy has the right attitude towards women who chase celebrities. There can be no innocent motives after all.

Cops quitting places where the public hate them makes sense. Those publics are unworthy of police protection and should beg the thugs they worship to protect them.

Your city burned because of DEMOCRATS and their hood rat pets. The voters did this.

The most important function of war is to get Youtube views by affirming influencer audiences. Spectators without skin in the game get cost-free affirmation, money is made and everyone's happy.
