  1. The replacement bridge should be all-steel and modular like military bridging for much easier maintenance and rapid future replacement in hours instead of days. No exotic tech required. Many WWII Bailey bridges are in use to this day. All US infrastructure should be designed for rapid repair, replacement and recycling because the cost of doing that is a trifle compared to the economic cost of disruption.
