All this is self-inflicted and it will continue. Where does the idea come from that more workers were needed? Growth ONLY HELPS THE RICH developer class. Growth does NOT help socially marginalized groups, it just prices them out of opportunities. Growth is only useful to the banker/investor class who have never not been enemies of the people.
