No, ADULTS made the informed choice to buy there. If you're rich you can afford to lose homes now and then in return for pretty views. A grade school child should know enough basic geology to figure out that location is terrible for everything but the views.

@Myatalanta-l4x I'm biased against people who made the OBVIOUS choice to live in a location anyone with a decent grade (not even high school) school location was pants on head stupid. I worked hard for what I have and made sure to buy land wisely. No mountainous locations, minimal fire risk, not building in a flood plain, not living where a levee or a dam is the only thing keeping water from washing what I earned away etc didn't cost me a dime.
