  1. Retirement is awesome from any job and they have a good package. They can get a second career in communities whose citizens aren't pieces of feces and most especially do not vote for Democrats. NY will just LOWER ITS STANDARDS and hire whatever crawls under the door. The voters chose this and will continue to vote Democrat. Cops can sell their homes for a tasty profit then escape to rural departments whose citizens aren't a waterfall of thugs. I wouldn't defend a city that isn't worth preserving either. People who wanted better lives should have left the area long ago. I did. Feels good. America is huge and there is no reason to live in NY unless you are wealthy and that wealth is tied to a local business.
